Open Mic Night

We recently partnered with the Leeds Community Church to put on an Open Mic Night, and it was a blast!

Neighbors shared music, poetry, stories and a lot of great baked goods. We’re thinking this could be just the ticket for fighting the midwinter blues, so keep an eye out for future events.

Story Hour

Our library committee hosted a weekly story hour this summer! Geared towards younger children, we entertained about 20 kids, including families new to town.

Guest readers included Travis Adams, Assistant Chief of the Leeds Fire Department, Jennifer Wiegman, guidance counselor at Turner Elementary, Deborah Emery, illustrator of The Wildlife Tree and beekeeper Harry Wiegman.
